About the role

This is a senior leadership role with a strong mix of technical oversight, project direction and team development.

You’ll take the lead on civil and multidisciplinary projects, setting the technical direction, supporting project teams and ensuring delivery is on track commercially and operationally. While you’ll still stay close enough to the work to influence design outcomes, your focus will be on guiding teams, managing risk and maintaining quality across multiple projects.

You’ll work closely with leadership while also being the go-to person for engineers in the team, providing mentoring, reviewing work and helping others grow in capability and confidence.

Client engagement is a key part of the role, building relationships with stakeholders, contributing to proposals and providing trusted advice throughout project lifecycles.

What we are looking for

Must have:

• RPEQ certification
• 15+ years’ experience in civil engineering
• Strong background across multidisciplinary projects
• Proven experience leading projects and guiding teams
• Ability to balance technical oversight with commercial and delivery outcomes
• Confident communicator with clients, authorities and internal stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience mentoring and developing engineers at different levels
• Involvement in business development or winning work
• An interest in helping shape team capability and office growth
